Coney, Slime, Others to Participate In Sajam's Tekken Slam

Streamer and fighting game commentator, Sajam, has announced the lineup of streamers and coaches for his Sajam Tekken Slam. 

The tournament is supposed to be similar to what Crazy Raccoon and Reject Fight Night have been doing in Japan which is to get a bunch of streamers who aren't proficient in Tekken, and have them coached by pro players and then pit them against each other in tournament. 

The success of Street Fighter 6 in Japan has this format to thank for its rise and North America is looking to do something of that ilk to boost the popularity of fighting games.

Sajam was pleased with the number of entrants, even claiming that well over 50 streamers were interested in doing the tournament. He also got coaches like Justin Wong to help out. 

The tournament will be streamed on Sajam's Twitch channel and the training period (or arc) will take place from the 4th to the 10th of March 2024 with the tournament commencing from the 8th of March.
