After the Skullgirls Encore event, which was won by SonicFox, it was time for the long-awaited Skullgirls World Championship 2024. Participants of the tournament were: Winner of Showtime Event at Frosty Faustings XVI, top ranked player in the North America leaderboard, winners of the Curtain Call regional finals, and the winner of the Encore Event at Combo Breaker 2024.

After some struggles in the semifinals, SonicFox otherwise dominated the entire event and became a deserved Skullgirls World Championship 2024 champion.
