Chris Wong Leaves Fnatic
He is now a free agent

Capcom Cup X finalist, Chris Wong has announced his departure from FNATIC following almost a year of working with the team.

Chris was signed to FNATIC back in May 2024 with the Esports World Cup in mind following a series of impressive performances with his Luke in c first season. Following some nerfs to Luke, he has struggled using Akuma to return to his season 1 heights.

FNATIC released a short statement wishing Chris well and announcing their evaluations of whether to remain in Street Fighter 6. With the EWC sure to return this year, it is likely a lot of clubs will be looking for players when the time comes.

Chris announced that he is a free agent which hints at the fact that he is actively open to working with a new team. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
