Charles Martinet Named as Official Nintendo Mario Ambassador
Iconic voice actor embarks on an exciting new mission as Official Nintendo Mario Ambassador, dedicated to celebrating Mario fans worldwide.

Charles Martinet, who is best known as the voice of Mario, has been named the official Mario Ambassador by Nintendo. With this new job, he will go worldwide to meet Mario players and celebrate them at special events. He made the news himself in a YouTube video in which Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto was also shown. Martinet said in the video that taking on this job was an honor and a thrill after years of being the voice of well-known characters like Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi.

Martinet will be able to keep making Mario fans worldwide happy by going to Nintendo events worldwide, helping him spread the magic of Mario games by letting him talk to fans who have loved the series for decades.

Martinet said in the YouTube post that it has been an honor for him to give voice to Nintendo characters over the years. He thanked Miyamoto, particularly for letting him start his Mario journey, which has meant so much to him and many people, and that meeting other Mario fans has been his favorite part of the job, and how important it is to him that Mario games make people smile, laugh, and feel happy and innocent. As he starts his new job as Mario Ambassador, he is looking forward to meeting fans in person at events and continuing to make people feel the way Mario games do.

Martinet is an excellent choice for this role as an ambassador because of his long history as the voice of Mario and his love for the job. He can now celebrate with fans more directly through special events made just for the character he helped bring to life through voice acting. Fans can expect Martinet to use his Mario diplomacy right away. His love of Mario shows he will do a great job representing the franchise and community as he tours the world. The ambassador news delivered how much he wanted to spread happiness and connect with his fans.

Martinet ended the statement by saying he was looking forward to meeting more Mario fans at future events. As the newly named Mario Ambassador, he will bring Nintendo's beloved mascot Mario and the fans who have loved him for over 30 years closer together.
