CEO 2024 Tekken 8 Results

Tekken 8 was the final event for CEO 2024 and it was an exciting ride. ATIF got the win over Japan's Keisuke in a nail-biting finale to get his CEO belt and also book a place at the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia starting in July. 

Keisuke had already lost to ATIF in top 8 and then went on a loser's run where he defeated JDCR, Doujin, and JoKa to get the runback against ATIF, but it was not enough as he lost and had to settle for 2nd place. 

The second slot for the EWC went to Doujin from the Philippines as Keisuke has already qualified via DreamHack Summer where he was in the top 8. 

There was some shade thrown the USA's way as there was no American representative in the Tekken top 8 which prompted questions about the United States' ability in the game. 

Some have argued that the NA region is not very strong in Tekken 8 and have been overrun  by other regions especially Pakistan, Europe, and Asia.
