GGST Top 8

GGST Top 8 was a stacked affair with high-level talent that saw several established players fall along the wayside and a new kid on the block emerge, a lot of table-shaking upsets that saw Umisho, Hotashi, MysticSmash get kicked out, Leffen and Zando narrowly making it to Top 8

The winners' semifinals started with apology man facing off against the mysterious Bean, with ApologyMan ending up in the losers' bracket, and the new kid on the block, NBNHMR, in his debut at an offline tournament, sent Jonathan Tene to the losers.

In the losers' first round, Razzo sent Zando out of the event, while Leffen showed creativity with Happy Chaos by having a straight three win against TempestNYC.

At the losers' quarter-final, Razzo sent ApologyMan packing in a tightly contested match, while Leffen again exhibited his dominance over Jonathan Tene in a three-win battle.

The winner's final saw Beans Chipp against NBNHMRs' Nagoriyuki in a major upset that sent Bean to the losers and NBNHMR to the Grand finals.

At the same time, the losers' semifinal saw Razzo eliminate Leffen from the event.

The loser's final had Beans Chipp pitted against Razzos Leo in a nail-biting five-round battle that ended in Razzo taking third place in the CEOtaku 2022 GGST event.

The Grand final had the first timer in an offline event NBNHMR face off with Bean for the second time in the bracket, which saw Bean start with high adrenaline regardless of Chipps low damage output, but in the end, it wasn't enough to defeat NBNHMR in the Grand finals, who placed first regardless of the odds in the nature of the event.

Generally, it was a very successful outing for CEOtaku 2022 with all the hype and excitement leading up to the event and all the hard work and dedication from the community that made it all happen. It wouldn't be CEOtaku without the community behind it and the camaraderie it fosters!
