Capcom Cup: Gachikun's Hilarious Reaction to Avoiding Group F

Gachikun, a former Capcom Cup winner, is once again in the tournament that changed his life. Drawn in group D along with Valmaster, Takamura, NL, MikeX and SolvNG, he was lucky to have avoided the group of death. 

Many have already dubbed Group F as the 'group of death' as it has the current Capcom Cup champ, MenaRD, Evo winner, AngryBird, young prodigy, EndingWalker, and Defend the North winner, Caba.

When the draws were held, it was between Gachikun and AngryBird to wind up in group F, and by the luck of the draw, Gachikun got the easier of the two groups.

Gachikun watched the stream live and was visibly relieved to find that he wouldn't have to battle the titans of the world just to make it out of the group stage. 

Unlike last year where the groups were seeded, this year's tournament was unseeded and this meant anyone could end up anywhere and so it was that Mena found himself with best friend and team mate, Caba. But, the most ergregious of the circumstances was with JabhiM and Ren placed in the same group, meaning they would have to face each other even though they are from the same country and compete in the same region (South Africa). 

The draws have led to mixed reactions as many are displeased with the idea that one of AngryBird or MenaRD might have to leave the tournament in the group stages because they are in the same group. 

This has led to calls for more offline competitions and better seeding to be brought back. 

Capcom Cup kicks off tomorrow, 16th of February, with the Last Chance Qualifiers.
