Call of Duty Mobile Reveals Unexpected Crossover With Street Fighter 6
Akuma, Cammy, Chun-Li, and Ryu can finally use firearms to kill generic military dudes.

Much like almost all crustaceans evolve toward crabs, it seems all live service games will eventually devolve into Fortnite. The latest media property to staple another media property on top of itself is Call of Duty Mobile.

The offshoot of Microsoft's (formerly Activision's) premier first-person shooter has just announced their collaboration with Street Fighter 6, which comes in the form of operator and weapon skins. From the looks of it, you can expect skins based on Akuma, Cammy, Chun-Li, and Ryu. Each of them also has a weapon that heavily corresponds with their design.

The release of these cosmetics will be slightly staggered, with operative skins releasing on December 11 at 4 PM PT, while weapon skins will be available at the same time on December 13.

Some have raised suspicions that this announcement at least partially used AI generated images, and while there's nothing to really prove it (the visuals appear entirely consistent despite some arguably weird details and lighting), this wouldn't be too much of a surprise.

Call of Duty has been under fire for several years now for their use of AI generated images. In spite of all the criticism, the AI usage has only increased with Black Ops 7, which uses AI for various calling cards, icons, and even major UI graphics.
