The fighting games community is on the verge of a new dawn. Ok, that might be a somewhat unnecessary comparison, but for me personally, it is super exciting to see fighting esports returning to the offline format. Many games already did this step, and now, Brawlhalla also emerges from the online dimension.
The Midseason Championship will be the first official offline tournament after the pandemic. It’s not the same open format you might get used to, but still, this is a joyful step to the bright future (oh, I should limit these emotional epithets… one day…)
The Brawlhalla Midseason Championship will be for invited players only, and no spectators are allowed. We will be able to watch matches through official streams. The Championship continues for three days: June 10-12.
Unlike other invitationals, the Midseason Championship is more open for competitors. Players could get their invite by reaching the top positions of the 1v1 Power Rankings. The final list of participants was formed after the Spring Championship.
