Tekken 8 Unveils 'The Anthem'
The collaboration with grime is a certified banger

The Tekken franchise has always had a rich history with music, and they have continued that tradition with 'The Anthem,' a grime song by the artiste Darren Dixon, better known by his stage name, D Double E

The song was released today and is accompanied by a video which was posted on YouTube and X (formerly Twitter) by Bandai Namco UK.

The song was produced by Jahrell Bryan, otherwise known as Fumez the Engineer. The 2-minute plus video features several lyrics tied to Tekken including a generous helping of name drops including characters like Marshall Law, Leroy Smith and Xiaoyu.

D Double E is a legendary rapper who has been on the scene was decades and is one of the most recognizable names in the world of grime. He had been teasing the project on his social media for a bit, and seeing it come to fruition has been great.

Fumez The Engineer was really excited about the release stating in a short statement on his X account that this was a childhood dream he has finally been able to actualize.

This was all done to celebrate the release of Tekken 8 which has been an incredible success with fans pleased to see most of the issues they worried about sorted like netcode and so on.
