As fighting games enter into what most fans are hoping is a rennaissance period, the balance of each fighter has become a lot more important. Fighting games are under an unbelievable amount of scrutiny and fans have unfettered access to developers and are more vocal than ever.
In all this, we have seen the balancing of fighting games take center stage and sometimes they go right, and other times developers get it horribly wrong. The question though, is: are there too many balance patches in fighting games?
Should games be allowed to breathe and fans to figure out how to play, or should be aim to control things so tightly in a bid to satisfy all parties possible? This is the question we look to answer in our latest YouTube video.
