The agency will present a line of merchandise for the most significant titles of the publisher
Publisher Arc System Works America and global licensing agency Firefly Brand Management signed a deal this week. The agency will distribute products under license from titles such as Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Double Dragon, and River City (in Japan, this series is also known as Kunio-Kun).
Firefly will also introduce a regional merchandise line, including apparel, accessories, and toys. Other details of the deal have yet to be discovered.
Here is how Cynthia Modders, Chief Executive Officer at Firefly Brand Management, commented on the start of cooperation:
Arc Systems Works is recognized for owning some of the most prominent Japanese IPs for multiple gaming platforms. These dueling games are comprised of unique characters, high quality visuals and innovative elements that keep fans coming back for more. These highly sought-after titles have an Otaku Fan Base that continues now for over 20 years. We are extremely pleased to be representing such a rich heritage of iconic games spanning that last two decades, now more than ever before this rich storytelling and unique characters can be developed into a global worldwide merchandise program.Cynthia ModdersChief Executive Officer at Firefly Brand Management
