The top player has joined at just the right time with the Arc World Tour calendar just kicking off and tournaments there to be won
Top Guilty Gear -STRIVE- player, RedIAmNot, has been announced as a ONi Global player.
RedIAmNot is a strong Goldlewis player who has a history of top placements in tournaments, including a top 8 at Frosty Faustings earlier this year. He is also a 2nd-place finisher at CEOtaku 2024 and made top 16 at the ARC World Tour finals in 2024.
ONi has continued to expand its playerbase in recent times and is well represented across several games within the fighting genre. They are home to the first 2XKO major champion Bleed, and also have strong competitors in Street Fighter 6 like DomaXD.
With his latest move, RedIAmNot will look to qualify for the next Arc World Tour finals which is being headlined by GGST with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls to join the lineup after its release later this year.
This is a departure from past tours which have also featured Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, and Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes]. The tour has already kicked off with Evo Japan where Japanese pro, Tyurara, was the winner and is therefore qualified for the showpiece event next year.
With at least 11 more events to go and a potential place on the leaderboard, RedIAmNot has a lot to fight for in the near future to secure qualification.
