Antony Starr Will Not Voice Homelander In MK1
The plane has sailed

Somewhat early into November, Antony Starr, the actor who portrays Homelander in Amazon Prime's The Boys show, said on his Instagram that he did not voice Homelander for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 DLC.

Given that the extent of the confirmation was a single "nope" and where it was made, many fans were still in doubt about the overall chances of Homelander having coming with the voice that people know and love.

Many have speculated about possible schedule issues and the complications that could have come from the SAG-AFTRA strike, but nothing concrete has even been confirmed.

But oh well, it seems like Antony himself wanted to reiterate it once again, amid no doubt dozens if not hundreds of inquiries and requests from fans.

It will still be quite a while before Homelander releases in Mortal Kombat 1, which in theory, leaves a lot of room for things to change, but we wouldn't insist on any possibilities, given Antony's statements.

Such cases are usually rather sensitive, and you rarely get anything as concrete as what we got here unless things are already set in stone. Let's just hope that whichever VA will get the role of Homelander, does a great job with the task.
