Alliance & Armada Part Ways After Nearly 10 Years

Armada, one of Super Smash Bros Melee's best players and regarded as one of the five gods of SSBM, says goodbye to one of the last few things remaining from his Melee competitive days: Team Alliance. After announcing his retirement in late 2018, it seems like time has run out on the ten-year partnership between the two.

Armada has not been without success, though, as he is currently still a content creator with a heavy focus on Smash content, and more recently, he has become a highly successful speedrunner.
