All Reveals from the Second Kombat Kast Dedicted to Mortal Kombat 1

NetherRealm Studios is preparing fans for the release of Mortal Kombat 1, systematically revealing new details. Last week at Evo 2023, we finally got confirmation about Reptile's appearance in Mortal Kombat 1, where he will be a playable character alongside Havik from the Chaos Realm and Ashrah.

Today the studio returned to the air of the Kombat Kast show dedicated to the latest iteration of the series with full gameplay breakdowns for Smoke, Ashrah, and Geras. You can also learn more about the work of the artists who gave the look to the new arenas and how they turned from quick sketches into elaborate atmospheric backgrounds.

As you might expect, many of Ashrah's attacks are built around enhanced close to mid-range sword strikes and their aerial combos. She can also hit a target with various magical spells or take her opponent by surprise, teleporting behind them.

Mortal Kombat 1 will launch on September 19, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store). Pre-orders receive Shang Tsung as a playable character and Beta access for PlayStation and Xbox players. The beta will be available from 18th August 2023, 11 am EDT / 8 am PDT, and run through 21st August 2023, 11 am EDT / 8 am PDT.
