Akuma Theme Released For Street Fighter 6
The Japanese inspired theme is a certified banger

The theme music for Akuma has been released for Street Fighter 6. With season 2 of the game on the way along with the release of one of the most anticipated characters in the game, Akuma's theme music has been put out to further whet the appetite of fans.

The music is clearly Japanese inspired with traditional instruments such as the koto playing in the background.

Music in Street Fighter 6 has been a bit polarizing with some fans unimpressed with a lot of the character soundtracks available in the game, and while there was some praise for Akuma's soundtrack (called Shura), a lot of players and fans seemed to prefer the character's soundtrack from Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Killing Moon, over the current one.

On a lighter note, according to John Takeuchi, the song features none other than Tachikawa's father as one of the vocals in the background. Tachikawa is a Japanese pro player for Street Fighter and numerous other titles, representing Burning Core and was part of the Good 8 Squad team for the last edition of Street Fighter League Japan.
