2XKO Sneaks In New Character Tease During Console Release Trailer

Riot didn't bring as much to The Game Awards as Street Fighter or Invincible VS, but there is still some new content on the horizon for 2XKO players.

As you might remember, the game is heading to consoles. When? January 2026, no more specific date at the moment, even though we're heading into the second half of December. Admittedly, the approval process for consoles can be rather complicated and out of developer's hands a lot of the time, it's why urgent patches also tend to be a bit late on consoles.

The fun part is that we can probably expect the console release to launch alongside a new character, expanding 2XKO's character roster to 12 characters. Not much, but this is a pretty decent pace when comparing them to the competition.

It seems like this version of the character leans a bit more towards her appearance and style in League of Legends, rather than the Arcane show. No gameplay yet, so we can only assume how she is going to play, but considering her in-game kit consists of shooting people and laying traps, you better learn how to deal with zoning, buddy.

And hey, if you're one of like 6 or 8 people who hated Arcane, it seems like the next batch of characters will be from the pool of those that did not appear in the show.
