2XKO Game Director Addresses State of the Game
The latest patch seems to have brought quite a few issues along the way.

January's full release alongside the console port brought some exciting news for the 2XKO fan-base, but past the initial hype, it seems like people are rapidly finding new issues with the latest patch.

Specifically, the bugs are plenty. To some extent you could expect it for Caitlyn, the newest character on the roster, but the number of general and character specific bugs is almost overwhelming.

Some of the bugs and glitched interactions are funnier than others, however.

Regardless, this whole situation has been a major point of frustration for competitive players. The highest level of fighting games is built on consistent and predictable interactions, and strategy often relies on thinking several steps ahead. You simply can't do that when a specific issue has a chance of throwing everything off.

Shaun "Unconkable" River, the game's director, had to step in ahead of their Weekend Warmup and clear up a few things about the game's near future.

Naturally, the team is well aware of the current issues, and are targeting four key points:

  • Unexpected interactions
  • Incorrect Ranked restrictions and misconfigurations
  • Screen-tearing on consoles

These have been some of the biggest issues at the moment, but we'll have to wait a bit until the Weekend Warmup to hear Riot's more concrete plans.
