Biography

Story

Beetlejuice is a mischievous and chaotic ghost who resides in the afterlife, causing havoc in the world of the living and the dead. Once a human, his origins are murky, but he became a self-proclaimed “bio-exorcist,” offering his disruptive services to scare the living away from haunted houses. Summoned by saying his name three times, Beetlejuice delights in creating mayhem, twisting the natural order for his own amusement.

His primary goal is to escape the constraints of the afterlife and wreak as much chaos as possible. Whether by manipulating the recently deceased or scheming his way into the land of the living, Beetlejuice is a master of trickery. Despite his devious nature, his plans often backfire hilariously. It remains to be seen why or how he ended up falling through the thread of the multiverse.

Personality

Beetlejuice is brash, obnoxious, and unpredictable. He’s a fast-talker with no sense of boundaries, always seeking a laugh at the expense of others. While he thrives on chaos and mischief, he’s also cunning, using manipulation and deceit to achieve his goals, though his arrogance often trips him up.

Playstyle

As a quintessential trickster character, Beetlejuice is one of MultiVersus's core assassin characters. He has access to a number of close-range specials that are perfect for closing out knockouts.

Appearance

Beetlejuice is instantly recognizable with his pale, decaying complexion, messy green hair, and gaudy black-and-white striped suit. His unsettling appearance matches his chaotic personality, with exaggerated facial expressions and a twisted grin, creating an eerie but comedic presence.
