Vlov Arkhangel is the nineteenth of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors from the frozen lands of the far north, who inherited the position of Ancestor from Zaria Offenbaum, who he killed. Originally he was a knight who was exiled from his kingdom. He wandered the world and then he went to the frozen ocean where he found Zaria and was adopted by her, being given the name "Arkhangel". Michael Roa Valdamjong convinced him to kill Zaria Offenbaum and lied about how the blood of a True Ancestor would save the knight's life, stealing away the past 200 years away from Vlov. As a result in the knight developing a deep hatred for Roa and a desire for revenge against him.
Vlov Arkhangel is a proud and loyal knight. He is quite tactical and observant. His battle instincts are also quite good. Despite his cool-headed nature, Vlov is extremely protective of his personal life and his secrets, and revealing them in any way can cause him to make unwise tactical decisions.
Vlov is a character who use a strong projectile game with normal attacks and large mid-range specials to smash his opponent's game. With Vlov’s projectiles, fullscreen lows, and his long range moon skills, he is able to influence the match from practically anywhere on the screen. He has many ways to use his resources effectively as well as many opportunities to gather more through his higher than average meter gain and his inherent ability to leverage charge effectively. But Vlov has several things working against him. He has the slowest frame data in the game for close range attacks and his specials are geared towards offense and zoning, leaving him with strong but slow abare options on the defensive outside of system mechanics. With his tall height, no reversals outside of arc drive, and below average speed, Vlov has a difficult time cheating a turn up close safely compared to other cast members. As well as this catching him without any resources is going to be a very bad time for Vlov Arkhangel.
