Ryo

Story

Ryo Sakazaki learned the art of fighting from Takuma Sakazaki, who owned the dojo for the Kyokugenryu school of Karate and passed on his legacy to his son.

He trained diligently from childhood and achieved peak form, for which he received the nickname The Invincible Dragon. For a long time, his rival and best friend remains Robert Garcia, who also knows Karate to perfection.

Ryu keeps an eye on his more free-spirited and modern younger sister Yuri and is truly proud of her progress. Ryu also has a special relationship with King, as they were once rivals but are now on the same team by mutual agreement and seem to be getting closer.

Personality 

Ryo Sakazaki takes his friends and family very seriously and is always ready to help. He also honors the fighter's code and wants to avoid getting into a fight for no reason.

Ryu prefers to spend time training and is constantly improving his form. He's conservative, straightforward, and probably a little old-fashioned.

Playstyle

Ryo is fluent in Kyokugenryu Karate and trained with Robert Garcia, his friend, and sparring partner. His main techniques are based on solid punches, which makes his style related to his father's favorite technique. Ryo can also repel many of his opponents' attacks, giving him an advantage in a frontal attack.

Appearance

Ryo prefers to fight in orange dojo training attire and wears a neat mid-length hairstyle.
