Story

Unika is a mysterious young woman from a ruined future where Gears, infected by Nerville Hammer’s anti-Gear virus, went berserk, starting a second Crusade. Born from an egg laid by Dizzy, Unika was raised by Nerville, who exploited her Gear cells. Sent back in time, she arrives with a burning hatred for Gears, trying to provoke Dizzy at Ky Kiske’s wedding. After several violent encounters with Sin Kiske, Sol Badguy, and others, she activates an anti-Gear superweapon, escalating tensions. However, her perspective changes upon learning she is a Command-type Gear. In a climactic battle, Nerville merges with his future self, revealing his goal to erase both humans and Gears. 

Personality

Unika harbored deep hatred for Gears until Bridget and Sin made her reconsider. Discovering she was a Gear, and merely a pawn for Nerville, shattered her worldview. Naive and manipulated, she sought redemption after realizing her mistakes, especially when Bridget was gravely injured, driving her to atone for her past actions

Playstyle

Unika is a heavy-hitting bruiser with slow mobility but devastating pressure. Using her Arbalest trait to enhance specials, she controls space with beams, mix-ups, and strong normals, though whiffing attacks leave her vulnerable.

Apperance

Unika is a young woman with short black-and-blue hair and crimson eyes behind cat-eared goggles. She wears a layered outfit: a white turtleneck, orange jacket, and thigh-high socks. In combat, her hair glows blue, and she grows a salamander-like tail. She wields a hybrid railgun/sword resembling Sol’s Junkyard Dog, infused with a Thunderseal, hinting at her Kiske-Bulsara lineage.
