EVO 2021 ONLINE - Europe

The biggest fighting game convention in the world, Evolution Championship Series, returns in 2021 with a new online format due to COVID-19 restrictions. This year, EVO will feature four main trophies in Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat 11, and the upcoming fresh title Guilty Gear Strive, which will take place during August 6-8th and 13-15th. Tournaments will be regional, and everyone willing to participate is free to register on the official event website.

Despite online format limitations, there also will be a bunch of side tournaments during June and July called Evo Community Series with additional disciplines represented, such as Granblue Fantasy Versus, Skullgirls, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Gundam: Extreme vs. Maxi Boost ON, Soul Calibur VI, Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, and Under Night In-Birth. More than 120 tournaments will be held, providing an opportunity for everyone to compete for 74,000$ total prize-pool and exclusive PS4 themes and avatars.
