Haohmaru

Story

Haomaru is the main protagonist of the Samurai Shodown series. He came to the world of SOULCALIBUR because of a mysterious voice in his head. While trying to understand who was speaking to him, Haomaru found himself on the Gairyu Isle, but two hundred years before his birth!

The Sengoku Era didn’t bring him that much discomfort: being a fierce and skilful warrior, Haomaru stood out among lots of sworders. 

One day, Haomaru learned that the voice came from Soul Edge, the strongest blade in the world. Nothing dares to tell Haomaru what to do, but our fighter entered the battle of the strongest with a poorly hidden excitement.

Appearance

Haomaru is a muscular male with long black hair dressed in a traditional white keikogi.

Personality

Haomaru is your typical straightforward protagonist: confident in his powers and always looking for self-improvement. He loves drinking sake and eating delicious food when he has time to rest. However, don’t think Haomaru is careless; he will try to avoid an unreasonable fight.

Playstyle

Haomaru wields his sword, Fugudoku. The length of the blade, together with its density, allows him to excel in both attack and defence. The downside of such a sword is its mass. You can’t be very mobile with such a heavy weapon. Overall, it is a really balanced character, great for beginners.
