Yomi 2 Fighting Card Game Announcement and First Gameplay

Sirlin Games published the first gameplay clip of Yomi 2 and opened a Steam page. This hybrid title combining fighting and card game mechanics is expected in 2023 and is an adaptation of the board game Yomi. The project implies the possibility of real-time online confrontations and asynchronous matches, thanks to turn-based mechanics.

The game designer of the product is David Sirlin, who created the original Yomi and designed physical card games like Flash Duel, Codex, and Puzzle Strike. Sirlin had a hand in developing Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. Therefore, you should hardly doubt the quality of the mechanics and the balance of Yomi 2.
