Yasmine Gameplay Trailer Drops For Street Fighter 6
The Filipino fighter gave fans their first glimpse of the fourth season of Street Fighter 6

The gameplay trailer for Yasmine, the first character from Street Fighter 6's Year 4, has dropped. The character, who was first revealed earlier this month at Summer Game Fest, is a Filipino fighter who uses a karambit knife to battle opponents.

The trailer shows off the character and her wide range of moves in both of her outfits. The first is traditional Filipino battle gear with modern elements, while the second is a school uniform that is reminiscent of Sakura.

From the trailer, Yasmine seems to be a rushdown character, and she also appears to be able to throw her karambit like a boomerang. This means that even if it misses an opponent, it can come back and potentially play a role in Yasmine's combos.

It is a little strange to get a gameplay trailer so soon after her reveal and still so far away from her actual release, which, according to the video is still set for August 3rd.

Initial reactions to the character have been good so far, with players and fans liking both her design and what she could mean for the game.

With the gameplay trailer now out, fans are speculating that SF6 might have another announcement in store for Evo Las Vegas, which is coming up in a little over a week. There is hope that fans will learn more about the game's plans for its fourth season and perhaps get details on additional content, something many players have been asking for.

Following Yasmine's release, attention will then shift to another newcomer, Arjun, who is set to arrive later in the year.
