Microsoft has revealed a fresh selection of games for Xbox Game Pass this January, headlined by notable games such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Resident Evil 2.

Among the new arrivals is the adventure game Close to the Sun, available from January 3. Set in a reimagined 1890s on a ship designed by Nikola Tesla.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Starting January 9
Resident Evil 2: From January 16
Other titles including Figment, Super Mega Baseball 4, We Happy Few, and Those Who Remain

In contrast, several games will leave the service in January, including Grand Theft Auto 5 and titles from the Persona series.
