WSO Red Bull Kumite Qualifier: A Grand Final of Guiles

The Winner Stays On (WSO) tournament took place a little while ago with the winner gaining a place in the Last Chance Qualifier for the Red Bull Kumite to take place next month in New York.

Of all the registered players, one man came out on top and it was Rainpro, the newly signed to Guild Esports player. He won in a pulsating final against Lexx and was able to take it 3-2 and gain a ticket. 

It was a stacked top 8 that featured the likes of Problem-X, Shivs, and The4Philzz.

Rainpro has been dominating the UK scene for a little while after coming from Asia to study, and he has become a prominent member of the FGC in that region. He is already qualified for Capcom Cup as he was able to defeat EndingWalker in the Grand Final of the online qualifier for the UK. 

Over in the United States, the remaining slots for the play-in competition have been filled as Spaceboy and Nephew won the 3rd and 4th tournaments to join Shine and NoahtheProdigy in the tournament. 

The play-in tournament which takes place on the 16th of March will produce one winner who will join the other invited players for the Red Bull Kumite proper. The final slot will be filled by the winner of the LCQ.
