Windrose has passed two million sales in its first month.
Developer Kraken Express confirmed the pirate survival game reached the milestone after launching in early access on April 14. The game previously hit 500,000 sales in 48 hours, one million in six days, and 1.5 million within two weeks.
The studio is now working on a bug-fix patch before moving into full production on the game’s next major update. The scope of that update has not been finalized, and no release window has been announced.
Windrose is an open-world multiplayer pirate survival game currently available on Steam in early access. Its first-month sales give Kraken Express a strong base to continue development while addressing technical issues and expanding the game’s content.
The next step is stability. Kraken Express said bug fixes are the current priority before the team shifts focus to larger additions.
