VIRTUA FIGHTER Project Gameplay First Look

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio finally revealed the first gameplay trailer for Virtua Fighter Project at EVO 2025. The teaser features fierce battles between iconic characters, emphasizing the game’s core technical and skill-driven mechanics enhanced by updated visuals. Although details are limited, the developers announced that additional information, such as story modes and character backgrounds, will be shared at Tokyo Game Show 2025 (September 25–28).

This is the first mainline entry since Virtua Fighter 5 in 2006, with RGG Studio leading the way in innovation while honoring the series’ history. Additionally, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, an enhanced version featuring cross-play and rollback netcode, will be released on October 30, 2025, providing a connection for fans.
