Ever since Virtua Fighter 5 came back with the new R.E.V.O. and World Stage editions, the development team at SEGA continued to improve the game at a steady pace.

With the Switch 2 port on the way, they're also looking to test its online functionality, with specific focus on cross-platform netplay.

Assuming you have the Switch Online membership, all you need to do is go to the store and download the game. The test will only run for two days, from February 18 to February 19, so you only have a somewhat short window to give it a try and see how things work out.

As a reminder, the full release of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Tour will be happening on March 26, 2026. The game is priced at $19.99 USD or your regional equivalent.
