The fighting game organization, Versus Vortex, was founded by former Evo champion, Xian, and FGC former player, personality, and legend, Mike Ross.

It was a return to FGC content and they started with a YouTube channel in early 2023. Since then, they have been quietly expanding, starting a Patreon, getting a team on Street Fighter League USA, releasing a line of merch, and most recently, launching their news website.

The news website has been running since last month, but was officially announced during one of the duo's streams where Xian talked about their plans to cover all sorts of fighting game news and content to keep everyone up to date.

This represents another leap for Xian who was recently signed to Gaiming Gladiators and who has with Mike Ross been becoming more and more influential in the fighting game content creation space.
