Upcoming Capcom Exhibit Will Showcase Over 200 New Sketches and More

The "Great Capcom Exhibition" will soon open its doors in a new location, with a venue in Tokyo, specifically Creative Museum Tokyo, located in Toda Building 6th floor, 1-7-1, Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

For those unfamiliar, this exhibition is a big celebration of art that Capcom has created over the last nearly 50 years of company's history. Currently they already have a venue open in Tottori, which will be going until December 7th.

The Tokyo spot will open on December 20th and last until February 22, 2026. So if you have any interest in becoming more familiar with Capcom's history, you'll have plenty of time to plan your Tokyo trip.

The exhibit promises a lot of interesting things to see even outside of production art. Capcom has separated different corners of the exhibit into different "Rounds," with each focusing on different aspects of game development. Round 1 is the history of Capcom, Round 2 highlights technology and ideas, Round 3 is about the character modeling, Bonus Stage shows off motion capture, and the Final Round seems to show off old concept art and proposals.

In addition to all of that, there will of course be various goodies and merch that visitors can purchase, from lenticular cards to bags and acrylic figures.
