Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes Region Lock Fix Underway

Many of you are probably aware that Under Night's sequel run into some issues on launch. When everyone rushed to finally get their hands on the game, any attempts to play online would result in a crash. There were other bugs as well, but none are quite as critical.

Fortunately, the developers were on top of the situation right away, and it didn't take long until the first patch was out. The general problem persists, but it seems like players are able to get into casual matches with some degree of consistency.

While the problem persists, lobbies have been the saving grace for online matches. But therein lies another issues – Region Lock. You can only get lobbies from within your region, which is definitely not optimal for people whose friends are further away. It also doesn't exactly help to get good connections because even if someone is right next to you, if their region is technically different, then you won't find them.

Luckily, French Bread is still actively working on things, and they have acknowledged that Region Lock is one of the issues that they're looking into. For now, we just have to wait and see how they handle this. If Type Lumina experience is anything to go by, they won't leave these issues alone until everything is in working order.
