Twitch Has Removed All of Street Fighter Global Emotes
Alongside many other licensed emotes.

The time has come, Twitch did their semiregular emote purge, and tragically, FamilyMan is no more. He is taken away alongside other Street Fighter emotes, such as RyuChamp featuring pogging Ryu, and NiceTry, featuring Chun-Li just sort of looking at something.

This purge comes alongside many other emotes that are based on video games or other properties. Outside of Street Fighter, there were emotes based on League of Legends, DC Comics, Genshin Impact, Mortal Combat, Fall Guys, and others.

Because of that, it's suspected that Twitch is just getting rid of things that they don't hold the rights to. In spite of this removal, there are still plenty of other emotes based on comics, movies and video games that remain in the global emote pool.

And hey, if Capcom plays any part in getting these made in the first place, maybe they can do a bit of a refresh with new seasons and characters.
