In 2021 Tough Love Arena entered the public beta stage, and after roughly 6 years in development (since earliest updates go back to 2020) it is finally complete.

You've likely heard of this game before, because it was radically inovative back when it first popped up. A fighting game with proper rollback netcode, and not only that, but you can run it in a browser and instantly connect to other people.

It doesn't have too many characters, but the focus on quality over quantity, with all 6 characters being incredibly distinct. With 1.0 release, you can also enjoy the story mode and learn more about the cast.

The game can still be played for free in your browser, and if you want to support the devs, you can purchase the game on Steam. There is full crossplay with the browser version, so no need to worry about picking between whichever has more players.
