Tong To Leave DreamHack To Focus On TNS
He will always be a legend

Tong Lee, the founder of Tampa Never Sleeps and a tournament organizer of several years of experience, has announced that he will be taking a step back from his role as the product manager for DreamHack to focus more on TNS.

He made the comment on his X account, where he said:

"Life Update:

I’ve made the decision to step away from my role as Product Manager at DreamHack to focus more on growing TNS.

I’ll be staying on to finish planning for DreamHack Dallas, but my last day will be May 14th.

Beyond grateful for the past six years working on DreamHack. The experience I've gained, and the amazing people I’ve worked with have meant the world to me.

Looking forward to what the future holds and I'll definitely be back at a future DreamHack show to see my friends soon."

Tong has said nothing about his roles in Evo, CEO, and Combo Breaker where he functions as the head of tournament operations.

Tong is an avid fan of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and still plays the game as a competitor. He has also grown TNS from an annual event to an online weekly which is arguably the biggest in the FGC. They run streams for all the fighting game titles, and their YouTube channel continues to grow exponentially, with weekly tournaments that help keep players fresh and motivated.
