Book is widely considered to be the strongest player in the region, and he was a clear favorite going into the Regional Finals. He wasn’t at all tested in the pools and in the winner's final, but he did have to give it his all in the grand final against Shin Akuma’s powerful Akuma. Still, Book emerged victorious with his Lidia and became the Tekken Online Challenge 2021 – Southeast Asia: Regional Champion.

The second Tekken Online Challenge event of this weekend was in the region of Oceania. The season leader Yagami failed to make a solid impression despite moving on from Pool A. While he did reach the losers final, that was the best he could do that evening. The grand final was a contest between 500MGTren and xtramint, with the Lars player emerging victorious. 500MGTren is the Tekken Online Challenge 2021 – Oceania: Regional Champion.
