Have you ever wondered about what is the most important move in any given fighting game, or even the genre in general? Probably not, right? It’s a weird question, but I do think it’s an interesting one.
How would you even define something important? Is it something that so strong it shifts match-ups or entire the entire meta? Something like Yoshi’s flash or Baiken’s Baku in ACPR would fit the bill.
However, I think the most important move in the entirety of fighting games is something deceptively simple – your basic jab. In this video, I’ll try to explain why.
