The Match: Ludwig Announces FT10 to Decide Best Smash Melee Player

Ludwig Ahgren, a famous streamer, YouTuber and entrepreneur has announced a showmatch between Cody 'iBDWSSBM' Schwab and Zain Naghmi for the title of best player in Super Smash Bros. Melee. 

The show match which is simply being called 'The Match' will feature a bunch of undercard matches before the first-to-10 that will have iBDWSSBM and Zain fight for honours. 

Ludwig made the announcement on his X (formerly Twitter) account where he said it promises to be a huge event, and will officially affect the rankings which currently has Zain as number one and Cody as number two.

• Moky vs Leffen
• Salt  vs Magi
• Ludwig vs Noahj
• Slime vs Blur

Zain reacted to the tweet stating that he will not let the title of best Smash Melee player in the world get away from him. This means he must be putting in everything to ensure that he comes out of this victorious

Meanwhile, this is an opportunity for Cody to pick up a sponsor having been made sponsorless following the decline of CLG who he was a part of. Before them, he was part of Panda Global who have also more or less disappeared following their scandal last year involving the Panda Smash Tour. 

He stated that he would be competing in this event unsponsored and asked if anyone would be willing to sponsor him for the event.

The match will take place on the 15th of December 2023  at 12pm Pacific Time.
