The King Of Fighters XIII Global Match PS4 Open Beta Set Next Week

SNK unexpectedly announced that next week, PlayStation 4 users would finally be able to try out The King Of Fighters XIII Global Match as part of a test. Open beta testing will require the user only to download the build from PSN to participate. Pre-registration or a paid PlayStation Plus subscription is not required, despite the presence of online components.

The KOF XIII Global Match beta will feature a full roster of 32 characters, as well as Practice Mode, Customize Mode, and Online Mode. Test Scheduled from Monday, June 5th (7 PM PDT) to Sunday, June 11th (7 PM PDT).

SNK Playmore announced The King of Fighter XIII Global Match during Evo Japan 2023. The definitive version of the fighting game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch with a rollback netcode and some improvements for online functionality. The release date has yet to be announced.

The King of Fighter XIII was initially released in 2010 for Arcade and then ported to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, iOS, Android, and PC.
