The event will join Amazon Prime Video’s global service on December 11 while continuing on its usual multi‑platform broadcast.

The 2025 Game Awards, scheduled for December 11 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video for the first time. Previously, the event was only available through platforms like Twitch, YouTube, X, among a small handful of others. The Prime Video broadcast will be accessible worldwide where the service is available and is free with a Prime membership. This move reflects a strategic partnership between creator Geoff Keighley and Amazon: Keighley mentioned that with the upcoming Fallout TV series and other game adaptations on Prime Video, the platform is a fitting home for the show.

Alongside the new Prime Video option, The Game Awards 2025 will continue broadcasting on its traditional channels and over 30 platforms worldwide, making the addition complementary rather than exclusive. However, those interested in exclusive features like Twitch drops or co-streamer commentary may still prefer platforms like Twitch.
