The Dragon Ball FighterZ Rollback Patch Is a Bit of a Mess
The sudden excitement was subverted by hilarious bugs.

ASW hit people with a bit of a surprise recently, just suddenly dropping the DBFZ rollback alongside the release for current gen consoles.

The community was already somewhat split on this idea, for every "we're so back" there would be a post lamenting that it took 6 years to tune up the game's netcode (and almost two years since it was announced at Evo), so the same excitement just wasn't there anymore.

Regardless, the real issues started when people actually got to experience the new rollback, only to find old and familiar bugs that they have seen during the beta that was held in December.

Fortunately, it's some of the funniest bugs you'll see in a fighting game, but while we laugh at the t-posing Gokus, there's a bitter aftertaste to this patch, a sense that the game has been neglected, and the flaws were overlooked.
