Texas to Join Them's Fightin' Herds Roster on December 19

Them's Fightin' Herds is an indie 2D side-scrolling fighting game, first released in early access in 2018. The Mane6 team created a unique roster of anthropomorphic female characters conceptually inspired by the My Little Pony animated series. It continued to develop the mechanics and universe for several years. In 2020, the project was released for PC and Linux, in 2021 the game became available for Mac users, and finally, on October 18, 2022, the project reached PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Now the developers have introduced Texas, which will be included in the Season Pass and sold separately for $4.99.

The character, who became the first of four expected in the first season, seems to be able to influence the current competitive tier list. Notably, Texas' level 1 super is a direct reference to Krizalid's super from The King of Fighters '99. The fighter does not look too fast, but he compensates for this with solid blows and pulling opponents towards him with various grapples.

Texas will be available on all platforms on December 19th. The remaining fighters from the Season 1 Pass will arrive during 2023.
