Tekken World Tour: Global Leaderboard Situation Before Final Weekend
How many points are needed for different players to get into top-19?

On November 5, the Tekken World Tour 2023 will end, and we will know the names of nineteen players who will qualify for the Final Tournament in New Orleans.

We may assume that 14 players up to Tibetano may feel safe about their qualifying position, because there won't be enough points at the stake. As for Joey Fury, Super Akouma, Book, PINYA and Yondaime, they may lose their place.

Let's look into what each of the players from 20th place to 25th plans to do this weekend:

  • Shadow20z (#20, 605 pts): The American will play in the Thaiger Uppercut. To earn more than 625 pts, he will need to finish at least 9th, but to feel safe he needs to be at least in top-8.
  • LowHigh (#21, 601 pts): The Korean Player also participates in the Thaiger Uppercut, but he will need to finish at least 4th due to the limit on the Master tier events.
  • Sergie Mazter (#22, 596 pts): The Peruvian player wants to visit a Dojo tier event in Peru. He would need a victory with at least 32 participants or top-2 at Dojos 48+ or 64+ events. Besides that, he would also need lack of the results from other competitors in Thailand.
  • Sephiblack (#23, 590 pts): The Geman Player will visit the Dojo Tier event CLUTCH 23 Impact in Germany. He would need only the first place with at least 48 participants.
  • ATIF (#24, 570 pts): The current World Tour Champion will be at Thaiger Uppercut, and he needs at least top-8 (if everyone else fails) or at least top-4 to be confident in the overall result.
  • Tetsu (#25, 535 pts): Tetsu will visit the same Dojo Tier tournament as Sephiblack, and he would need a victory with 96+ participants, which, to be honest, seems very unlikely.
  • Ahsan Ali (#27, 520 pts): The Pakistani player is in Thailand, and a top-4 result might be enough to qualify for the TWT Finals.

There might be other players with fewer points (like Meo-IL) who will disrupt the global leaderboards, but they will need to finish at least second to do that. We should also mention that many players in the top-19 are also playing in the Thaiger Uppercut. The finish of the season is guaranteed to be dramatic!
