Tekken 8 Demands 100GB: Time to Upgrade?
Tekken 8, the much-anticipated addition to the legendary fighting game series, has officially announced its system requirements, and it appears that fans will need to make sure they have ample space on their gaming rigs. According to the specifications released, Tekken 8 will require a whopping 100 GB of available space for installation.
This requirement is part of the game's minimum system needs, which also include a 64-bit processor and operating system, with Windows 10 64-Bit being the platform of choice. Players will need at least an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor and 8 GB of RAM to run the game. On the graphics front, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti or AMD Radeon R9 380X will be necessary to step into the virtual arena.
For those who want the optimal experience, the recommended requirements suggest using an Intel Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, coupled with 16 GB of RAM. The graphics recommendation is bumped up significantly to a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. Despite the high-end specs, the storage requirements remain the same at 100 GB.
As with all modern games, a broadband internet connection is also a must for downloading the game and receiving updates. Plus, a DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset will ensure that the game's audio is as immersive as its combat.
