It doesn't take an expert or a pro player to know that fighting games feel best when they are smooth and responsive. The whole reason we all wanted rollback netcode is because we can finally play online without getting bogged down by extra delay.
Tekken 7 unfortunately faced two issues at once. The netcode was not up to par, and on consoles, the input delay left a lot to be desired. Some players outright had to train in PS to make sure they are prepared for tournaments that typically use Sony's consoles instead of PCs.
Well, noodalls comes to the rescue yet again. He has been providing invaluable info for virtually every new fighting game release, and it seems like Tekken 8 is doing good. The delay for consoles is at a very solid mark under 60ms, and according to his follow-up comment, the PC is ever faster on his (admittedly expensive) setup.
