Tekken 8 At Combo Breaker 2024: A Win At Last
A legend of the game overcame his past to find victory

The first Combo Breaker for Tekken 8 has concluded with AK from the Phillipines winning his first major Tekken 8 tournament over legend, Arslan Ash in a hard fought grand finals that could have gone either way.

Arslan Ash went through and insane run having lost on the way to top 24 to Dr.TheJAKEMAN and then defeating a slew of players including Knee, Farzeen, Hendo, and JeonDDing to take his place in grand final against AK. Interestingly, it was against AK that Arslan Ash got his very first Evo win way back in 2019 when he announced himself to the world. This was something of a runback and sweet revenge for AK who not only got to defeat Arslan, but also prevent him from defending his Combo Breaker crown as he had  won the tournament last year.

The top 8 was stacked with some of the very best and the standings went thus:

  • 1. AK
  • 2. Arslan Ash
  • 3. Farzeen
  • 4. JeonDDing
  • 5. Knee
  • 5. Rangchu
  • 7. Joey Fury
  • 7. Nobi
