Tekken 7 Has Achieved Over 9 Million Sales!

Ever since Tekken 7 has reached 3 million sales, it became a tradition that Katsuhiro Harada would make a post celebrating a new milestone every time the count went up by another million. The last time this happened was in late November of 2021 when Tekken 7 sold 8 million copies and marked this occasion by releasing new editions of the game.

A little under 8 months later and the game has reached another checkpoint, one that carries more significance than ever before.

With 9 million sales, Tekken 7 is now the best-selling game in the franchise, beating the long-standing record that was held by Tekken 3 for over two decades. Combined with the return of the Tekken World Tour, this is great news for any Tekken fan, as we can be sure that our favorite 3D fighting game series will continue its legacy.
